Happy Birthday Erin!!

25 years ago .. Rob & I rushed into the hospital in Regina .. after several hours .. we had a new daughter .. a sister for Kristin. Over the years she has kept us hopping and laughing. The joy she has given cannot be measured .. we thank the Good Lord for her daily.

Erin liked people right from the start .. and male people were her favorites. As soon as she learned to crawl .. she would follow Rob to the door as he went to work and cry until he phoned from the office to talk with her. No surprise that her word for phone was Daddy. When she was two years old .. she crawled up on a neighbor's lap .. she started to hug and kiss him .. we thought she must know him from daycare. We were wrong .. her comment after he left was .. "Who was that guy?"

When we left for India .. we thought Erin was young enough that she would like wherever we lived. Once again we were wrong .. one day she informed us .. "I don't like India .. it don't have snow."


As we have traveled from country to country .. our girls have had to make many moves .. they have kept us company in some of the scariest of places. We have been thankful for their flexibility as they grew older and for the way they helped us to keep our perspective on life. Nothing is better than a gigglefest with 3 girls around the supper table.

Life is good! We are beyond blessed! Thank you Erin for the joy you bring and have brought into our home!
