Pakistan .. Here We Come .. Well .. Half Of We Comes
Rob left for Pakistan this morning .. he has a few stops on the way .. he will arrive there on Sunday morning or rather Saturday evening our time. The house is already empty without him .. but we will survive.
I have been flooded with memories of Pakistan since the whole job situation came up. Like .. it will soon be orange season .. these are not ordinary oranges .. they are delicious and easy to peel. Not only are there truckloads of them .. but you often see giant piles at the side of the road. It is easy to eat several at a sitting .. and they are as cheap as schnutz. The traffic is another thing that is hard to forget .. although it is getting nearly as bad on the bridge here. There are many people .. so many, many cars. It was shortly after reading that a large number of the drivers in Pakistan buy their driver's license instead of going through a test for it that Rob encountered a lunatic milkman on a motorcycle. On the way down a windy mountain road .. whenever Rob had to slow down for safety .. the lunatic would pass him .. then .. the lunatic would slow down and putz along in front of him. Finally .. on a clear spot Rob passed him and yelled out the window "You probably bought your drivers' license." To which the milkman responded angrily "I don't even have a drivers' license!!" Ah .. you can't buy memories like that!

I too am looking forward to the oranges (and other fruit) and food in general. I wish you were there to share them with me.
There's a TV close to me and I can only hear bits and pieces of what is being said on the news. But there appears to be news about Pakistan on BBC. Don't have a clue what. It might be useful to know.
Love you,
Rob
Missing you too much! Love you!
